The Air Jordan 10 NYC will come in a black metallic leather upper. Both smooth and tumbled leather make appearances on the upper and are nicely contrasted by the hits of gold accents found in the branding. This includes the NYC lettering found on the ankle collar of each shoe.
Gold hits can also be found on the stripped heel tabs. This is said to represent the “concrete jungle”, a name the city often goes by. Black laces, sock lining, and soles complete the aesthetics of the shoe.
The Air Jordan 10 NYC has been compared to the OVO 10. The two shoes share an uncanny resemblance to each other, but both the NYC and the OVO were inspired by and designed to fit two different themes. As a member of the “City Pack”, this Air Jordan release is sure to make a name for itself apart from the “OVO look alike”.
