With the holidays around the corner, the Reebok Floatride and Floatride 6000 are great options for any fitness and fashion enthusiast.
Last week Reebok held a Run ‘N’ Style event hosted by Marni Senofonte in NY. Attendees not only ran in the brand’s Floatride sneaker, but also took styling tips from Marni, herself, to create a fashion-forward look with the shoes.
Attendees both sweated and styled throughout the event which consisted of a run to a studio for a styling session and culminated in a toast and talk with Senofonte. While chatting, Senofonte — who is also known for styling Kendall Jenner and Beyonce — explained how styling for music varies from other areas.
“Music is ahead of its time. I do believe music is the forefront of fashion trends. I do think we create things and then we see things. I think that music made wearing sneakers with suits cool like who was doing that? Now, businesswomen are doing it. I appreciate everything that’s current. Like sneakers and how it’s evolved into the sock booties,” said Senofonte.
FLOATRIDE and FLOATRIDE 6000
Reebok has launched three new colorways of the Floatrides in two hero black and white colorways as well as a special collaboration with FACE Stockholm (women’s only). The Floatride has received recognition as one of Reebok’s top running styles through the use of various technology including their Floatride Foam and *FUN FACT* a 3D heel cradle created by the same technology and padding from leading bra companies. With the launch of these new fall style colors, the Floatrides are the ultimate fusion of fitness and fashion that can be styled up for a curated, elevated look.
Reebok will also launch the Floatride 6000 in December, which is an even more fashion-focused and innovation-inspired silhouetted derived from the Floatride. Staying true to the brand’s heritage, they combine Reebok’s best running innovations with new design elements for a contemporary, lifestyle aesthetic.
The Hero Style Reebok Floatride retails for $150 in white and black colorways. Its seam free once piece Ultraknit upper offers support and breathable flexibility. The 3D heel cradle makes for a comfortable fit and an optimal mix of cushioning and responsiveness to eliminate heel irritation.
The second style, the Reebok X Face Stockholm Floatride retails for $180. The colorway is inspired by one of Face Stockholm’s Fall color palette and is part of a full Women’s capsule collection including apparel, footwear, accessories.
The third style, the Floatride 6000 was inspired by Reebok’s GL6000 performance runner and is combined with Floatride technology with a graphic upper for a fashion forward look. This sneaker will launch in December.
