The flyknit upper comes with a honeycomb structure in the toe box for the multi-directional movement of basketball’s demanding lateral quickness.
The advanced air zoom technology covers the shoe from toe to heel. This was done to provide support and absorb impact. The look of the shoe is completed with an icy translucent sole.
The KD 9 will be hitting store shelves around the world on June 20, 2016 at select retailers, and Nike.com. The shoe will run buyers $150.
It has been said that Durant will be wearing the KD 9 during the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
