Air Max day 2016 will see the special release of the Air Max Zero in two colorways. This year on March 26 Nike’s best kept secret will retail for $150. Designed by Graeme McMillan and inspired by a sketch from Tinker Hatfield in the late 1980’s, the Air Max Zero will finally get the recognition it deserves. Though it was intended to be Nike’s first rendition of the now famous Air Max, the idea was thrown out and the Air Max 1 was released in its place.
After being kept in Nike’s vault for so long the blue version of the shoe was released on Air Max day 2015. The OG yellow colorway was released earlier this year via the Nike SNKRS app on January 21. This time around both versions of the shoe will be releasing at the same time. The Nike Air Max Zero is said to become a Nike ID just a few days later on the 28th.
The sleek design of the silhouette make the shoe easily customizable. With a slip on construction and the original Air Max 1 sole the Nike Air Max Zero has a trendy lifestyle design. The shoe also features a seamless upper accented with fuse and tape supportive overlays. The futuristic glow in th dark blue lights up the Air Max Zero in a way that’s sure to turn heads.
A fresh design and a dope colorway make the Air Max Zero a must cop for spring 2016. Tell us which is your favorite colorway in the comment section below.
