The Air Jordan 2 Low UNC is somewhat of a tribute to the Tar Heels.
The “UNC” color scheme is MJ’s way of paying homage to NC, the school he attended before getting drafted into the NBA. A silimlar color way was released by Jordan Brand in 2004.
The 2016 version of the shoe comes in a predominantly white upper with University blue and midnight navy detailing on the heels, lining, and soles.
