Nike Sportswear continues to expand on one of their most classic sportswear models, their Air Max 97.
Typically the Air Max 97 opts for retro colors or a tonal look, but not this time. This time they’ve created a masterpiece, a caramel colored shoe complete with interesting embellishments.
Dressed in fall colors, the Nike Air Max 97 has a unique inspiration behind its design. The Brown and Black branding represents the cardboard boxes used to ship sneakers, while the large barcode appears under the translucent outsole.
It striped tongues symbolizes the tape Nike uses on online orders, while the stamp, “Box Certificate, Memphis TN”, is a nod to the location of Nike’s main shipping warehouse.
No release date yet for these Air Max 97, but you can expect them sometime this fall.
